This week end the
Moon will become Full, from the sign of Aquarius, meaning the Sun is in Leo. In fact, the Sun moves into Leo today, at around 10 in the night, UT.
This Full Moon marks the moment when THE T-square i have been talking about for several months now, will arrive to its most critical point, that is, when it becomes the closest to exact, that will ever be.
At the moment of the Full Moon, we now have Jupiter (0º)-Uranus (3º) at the beginning of Aries, opposing Saturn 0º Libra and Mars 28º Virgo, and all of it in square to Pluto at 3º of Capricorn.
Although the first thought is that of fear, not entirely unjustified, since it involves the most powerful planets, in the most powerful angles and signs, but the reality is slightly different. Truth is, this T-square has been already acting out for several months now, and we are all beginning to realize that there are many changes ahead, most of them absolutely necessary. But the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) are the most affected and many of us with either the Sun or any other planets in these signs, have already been going through the changes.
I actually would like to take this opportunity to invite most of you out there with Cardinal signs in your birth charts to share your experiences in this blog. Just for the sake of understanding how Astrology works. So. please, feel free to share your stories here.
Within my clientele, i have seen the
changes of home, of profession, of country, departure of children from home, death of parents or spouses or friends and all sorts of life changing experiences. Most of them in spite of the dramatic circumstances, quite positive changes at the end.
In particular, i feel that Cancer, being the missing leg on this T-Square which will complete the Cosmic Grand Cross, is the most affected.
But at the time of the Full Moon, this angle Leo-Aquarius, brings into consciousness, the angularity between the GROUP and the EGO. The dichotomy of learning to function within a group, sometimes denying the personal creative needs, and at the same time, learning to find one’s identity within the group.
No doubt that many groups, that have not become real groups, will come to an end or at least some members will retire from it, at the same time that some of its members might find a personal calling to go their own way.
Leo tells us about finding ways to express the calling of our soul and this is an important issue of these times. Finding something to do in life that agrees with our soul. Like James Hillman says in his Soul’s Code: “-every soul comes to this life, called-“. It is our responsibility, our prerogative, our obligation to develop our own personal calling.
I feel that if we don’t struggle for that, it will mean that we have not progressed from the times of our parents or grandparents, who lived their lives according to what families or society expected of them, most times ignoring their personal inner desires. That have left us with thousands of Lawyer, Doctors and Architects who function complete disconnected from their soul’s need, sometimes efficiently, most times NOT.
Pluto-Saturn-Uranus, the main planets forming this T-Square speak of finding our inner truth and living according to our soul’s needs. Depending on what age we encounter this Cosmic Event, we will experience this inner struggle to become who we really are, rather than being what our families or community expect of us.
A young woman of 18, comes to mind, who has talents and love for the dance, at the time when she has to decide what to do in college. Her mother says, on the suggestion that she, the girl, should follow her heart: -“In my times, we didn’t think of these things, we just followed our parents suggestions”, inspiring her daughter to study Marketing, since it has more possibilities than being a dancer. Never mind that this girl has real talents as a dancer. Or another 21 year old who has gone to become a Lawyer, like Dad and the Grandfather, but feels really feels that acting would be what he would excel at and where his passion is.
The work of Ken Robinson (The element) also comes to mind, about the need to change our view on education and its implication in helping the young, become who they really are.
What this T-Square has done for most of us is confront us with our possibilities. It has been a trip down to earth and below, where we have found out our real possibilities and limitations. Mercury, also in Leo, is opposing Neptune in Aquarius, reminding us of the fact that: “If we can dream it, we can make happen”, but only, taking into consideration our limitations and our real possibilities.
If you are in your 30’s, accepting the what you are and what you are not, is essential to re-direct your profession. If you are in your 40’s, the lesson is about accepting that although you haven’t achieved what you thought you would by this time, either professionally or in life in general, there are still possibilities to re-structure your life in ways more in accordance with your soul’s necessity.
If you are in your 50’s and your physical beauty begins to lose its power, the awareness of all the things you can still do, is the issue for you. If your are in your 60’s, the need to keep healthy and in tune with your soul is perhaps the most important thing, at the same time you can focus on being of service to others.
If you are in 70’s, accepting your limitations could offer you the vision of what to do while you are still alive. If you are in your 80’s and going through your Uranus return, you would have lived through the times, where this T-Square last took place, not exactly, but quite similar, and perhaps help us all, go through it, without panicking and being positive and optimistic.
So whichever age, this Cosmic Event gets you, we all have something to do, which will affect our personal path and affect the group and/or community in a positive way. So if you feel the fear, just think of the possibilities!
