One thing we can’t deny is the incredibly strong effect of the past New Moon in Capricorn, of the 27th of December, which coincided with the entry of Mars in this sign, which made a conjunction (0º) to Pluto, already there, since the November’s New Moon, and that also coincided with the events in Israel and the bombing of Gaza.
This was not an easy type of energy to handle, by any means. Personally and collectively it has confronted us with issues we must address, face up to and resolve.
But my question is: why are we so unable to deal with Pluto and Mars’ energies in any other way than violence?, Why do we think that we could one day deal or control this type of energies?
Those of us who were confronted personally with ego issues and desperately tried to deal with it in a civilized fashion, were confronted with the fact that energies don’t ever die, just because we choose to ignore them.
A heart attack, not a fatal one, a skin rush all over the body, death, were some of cases I personally came close to, during those days, through friends and clients, not to mention the little family confrontations and power struggles that make everyone involved look inside in search of answers and those who can’t, simply feel frustrated and unhappy.
Please feel free to comment on your experience so we can share with everyone the sort of things that happen when Mars and Pluto get together.
But yesterday the Moon linked with Mercury and Jupiter in the last degrees of Capricorn, and I couldn’t help notice the ostentatious tone of voice in some people, and makes me wonder about Israel and the Palestinians trying to sort this current situation during today and tomorrow, under such aspects, when everyone is going to believe they are right, unable to see the other side of the story.
For those of us, with planets in Libra, Cancer, Aries and Capricorn in our birthcharts, will simply have to self inspect our own motivations and stop and think before freaking out.
Even when it seems obvious that it is the others fault, we still must insist in questioning our motives and feelings.
If we don’t do that, the whole experience will be forgotten, nothing will be learned and we simply can’t afford
to loose the lesson.
Those of you with planets in Leo, Libra and Gemini, Taurus and Scorpio, having had Venus conjunct Neptune in Aquarius, must have made it difficult for you to keep track of reality, distinguishing what is real, from what are your desires. Probably you have being confronted by someone with practical issues that you find difficult to deal with at this moment.
No doubts the Full Moon on the 11th of January, in Cancer, will complete this cycle, and hopefully, we will be able to integrate this side of our psyche that needs acknowledging and integration.
Let’s be honest with ourselves and let’s stop blaming others for the way we feel.
Time to grow up! I Wish we could say that to Israel and Palestine. I wish it was that easy!!!
Happy New Year everyone!!
Let’s hope that Jupiter’s entry in the sign of Aquarius on the 5th of January brings us the clarity of mind we need to be able to get together and share our ideals to help the world!!!
great article, thanks :o)
